Dental Crowns & Bridges

Restore Your Smile. Protect Your Teeth. Get Back to What Matters.

Damaged, weakened, or missing teeth can affect much more than your appearance. They can make everyday activities like chewing and speaking uncomfortable and may compromise your long-term oral health.

At our practice, Dr. Ninel Wendover offers customized dental crowns and bridges designed to restore strength, function, and the natural appearance of your smile.

With advanced dental technology, including our CEREC same-day crown system, we're able to provide many patients with beautiful, custom-designed permanent crowns in just one appointment.

Our goal is to make restorative dentistry more convenient, comfortable, and personalized while helping you preserve your natural teeth whenever possible.

What Is a Dental Crown?

A dental crown is a custom-made restoration that covers and protects a damaged or weakened tooth.

Crowns are designed to restore a tooth's shape, strength, and function while blending naturally with the surrounding teeth.

A crown may be recommended when a tooth:

  • Has a large cavity or extensive existing filling.

  • Is cracked, fractured, or significantly worn.

  • Has been weakened by decay or damage.

  • Has undergone root canal treatment and requires additional protection.

  • Needs restoration for improved appearance or function.

Dr. Wendover carefully evaluates each tooth to determine whether a crown is the most appropriate treatment.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns

Advanced Technology. Beautiful Results. Less Time in the Dental Chair.

Traditionally, getting a dental crown required multiple appointments, temporary crowns, and waiting for a dental laboratory to fabricate the final restoration.

With our CEREC technology, we can create and place permanent dental crowns in a single visit in most cases.

CEREC uses advanced digital scanning, computer-aided design, and in-office milling technology to create customized ceramic restorations.

This technology allows us to streamline the crown process while maintaining a focus on precision, quality, and natural-looking results.

Benefits of CEREC Same-Day Crowns

One-Visit Convenience

Many patients can receive their permanent crown during a single appointment rather than returning for a second visit.

No Traditional Impression Material in Most Cases

Digital scanning allows us to capture detailed images of your teeth without conventional putty impressions.

No Temporary Crown in Most Cases

Because your permanent restoration can often be completed the same day, there's usually no need to wear a temporary crown while waiting for a laboratory.

Natural-Looking Ceramic Restorations

CEREC crowns are created from dental ceramic materials selected to complement your smile.

Customized Fit

Digital technology helps Dr. Wendover design a restoration that fits your tooth and supports comfortable function.

Fewer Appointments

Same-day treatment can be especially convenient for patients with busy schedules.

While CEREC allows us to complete many crowns in one visit, certain cases may require a traditional laboratory-made restoration or additional appointments.

What to Expect During Your Same-Day Crown Appointment

Step 1: Evaluation and Preparation

Dr. Wendover will examine your tooth, discuss your treatment needs, and prepare it for the crown.

Step 2: Digital Scanning

A digital scan captures the shape and position of your teeth, providing the information needed to design your custom restoration.

Step 3: Custom Crown Design

Using CEREC software, your crown is digitally designed to fit your tooth and complement your bite.

Step 4: In-Office Milling

Your crown is fabricated from a ceramic material using our in-office milling system.

Step 5: Placement and Final Adjustments

Dr. Wendover checks the fit, appearance, and bite before securely placing your permanent crown.

In many cases, you'll leave the office that same day with your completed restoration.

Dental Bridges: Replacing Missing Teeth

A dental bridge is a fixed restoration designed to replace one or more missing teeth.

Traditional bridges use neighboring teeth as support for artificial replacement teeth, helping restore the appearance and function of your smile.

A bridge may help:

  • Replace missing teeth.

  • Improve chewing and speaking.

  • Restore the appearance of your smile.

  • Maintain more stable tooth positioning.

  • Support a more balanced bite.

Bridges are custom-designed to complement your natural teeth and fit comfortably within your smile.

Depending on the type of bridge and your individual treatment needs, fabrication may require a dental laboratory and multiple appointments.

Crowns vs. Bridges: What's the Difference?

Although crowns and bridges are both restorative treatments, they serve different purposes.

Dental Crowns protect and restore an existing tooth that has been damaged or weakened.

Dental Bridges replace one or more missing teeth by using neighboring teeth or, in some cases, dental implants for support.

Dr. Wendover will evaluate your dental health and discuss which restoration best meets your needs.
