Additional Restorative Dental Services
Comprehensive Care to Repair, Restore, and Protect Your Smile
Your teeth work together every day to help you eat, speak, and smile with confidence. When a tooth becomes damaged, worn, infected, or missing, even simple activities can become uncomfortable.
At our practice, Dr. Ninel Wendover takes a comprehensive approach to restorative dentistry, focusing on preserving natural teeth, restoring comfortable function, and helping patients maintain long-term oral health.
From minor tooth repairs to more complex restorative needs, we believe every patient deserves individualized care and a clear understanding of their treatment options.
Dental Inlays & Onlays
A Conservative Alternative for Certain Damaged Teeth
When a tooth has more extensive damage than a traditional filling can adequately repair, but does not require a full crown, an inlay or onlay may be an appropriate option.
These custom-made restorations are designed to replace damaged portions of the tooth while preserving healthy natural structure.
Dental Inlays fit within the chewing surface of a tooth.
Dental Onlays extend over one or more of the tooth's cusps, providing additional coverage and protection.
With our advanced CEREC digital technology, many ceramic inlays and onlays can be designed and fabricated in the office during a single appointment.
These restorations provide a durable, natural-looking option for appropriately selected teeth while helping preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
Dental Bonding
Small Improvements That Make a Big Difference
Dental bonding uses tooth-colored composite resin to repair minor imperfections and restore the natural appearance of teeth.
Bonding may be used to address:
Small chips or fractures.
Minor gaps between teeth.
Worn or uneven tooth edges.
Certain areas of exposed tooth structure.
Small cosmetic irregularities.
Because bonding often requires minimal preparation, it can be a conservative option for patients seeking minor repairs or improvements.
Many bonding procedures can be completed in a single appointment.
Dentures & Partial Dentures
Replacing Missing Teeth and Restoring Everyday Function
Missing multiple teeth can affect your ability to chew comfortably, speak clearly, and smile with confidence.
Dentures and partial dentures are removable tooth replacement options designed to restore appearance and function.
Complete Dentures replace all teeth in the upper or lower arch.
Partial Dentures replace several missing teeth while using the remaining natural teeth and surrounding structures for support.
Modern dentures can be customized to provide a natural-looking appearance and improved comfort.
Dr. Wendover can evaluate your oral health and discuss whether removable tooth replacement is appropriate for your needs.
Root Canal Evaluations & Specialist Referrals
Helping You Preserve Your Natural Teeth
When the soft tissue inside a tooth, known as the pulp, becomes inflamed or infected, root canal treatment may be necessary to relieve discomfort and help save the natural tooth.
Symptoms that may indicate a problem include persistent tooth pain, prolonged sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures, swelling, or discomfort when biting.
However, not every tooth requiring root canal treatment causes noticeable symptoms.
Dr. Wendover can evaluate your dental concerns and determine whether specialized treatment may be necessary.
If root canal therapy is recommended, our office can refer you to an endodontist, a dental specialist who focuses on diagnosing and treating conditions involving the inside of the tooth.
Restoring Your Tooth After Root Canal Treatment
Following treatment with the specialist, Dr. Wendover can evaluate the tooth and recommend an appropriate final restoration.
In many cases, a dental crown is recommended to help protect and strengthen a tooth following root canal therapy.
With our advanced CEREC same-day crown technology, many permanent crowns can be designed, created, and placed in a single visit, eliminating the need for a temporary crown and multiple appointments in most cases.
Our goal is to help coordinate appropriate care while preserving your natural teeth whenever possible.
Tooth Extractions
When Preserving a Tooth Is No Longer Possible
Our priority is always to preserve natural teeth whenever appropriate.
However, there are situations when a tooth is too severely damaged, decayed, or compromised to be predictably restored.
In these cases, extraction may be recommended to address infection, discomfort, or other dental concerns.
Dr. Wendover will evaluate your condition and discuss appropriate treatment options, including specialist referral when necessary.
If a tooth needs to be removed, we can also discuss options for replacing it, including dental implants, bridges, or removable restorations.
Our goal is to help you make an informed decision that supports your long-term oral health.
Repairing Worn or Damaged Teeth
Restoring Strength, Comfort, and Function
Over time, teeth can become worn or damaged due to grinding, clenching, acid exposure, trauma, or everyday wear.
Depending on the extent of the damage, restorative treatment may involve:
Tooth-colored fillings.
Dental bonding.
Ceramic inlays or onlays.
Dental crowns.
A combination of treatments to restore multiple teeth.
Dr. Wendover evaluates the condition of your teeth, your bite, and any contributing factors before recommending treatment.
By addressing both the damage and its potential causes, we aim to help protect your smile from additional problems.
Advanced Technology for Restorative Dentistry
Modern Solutions Designed Around Your Needs
Our practice incorporates modern dental technology to improve the restorative treatment experience.
With our CEREC system, many custom ceramic crowns and certain other restorations can be completed in a single visit.
Digital scanning and computer-aided design allow us to create restorations tailored to your teeth and bite while reducing the need for traditional impressions and temporary restorations in many cases.
For patients who require a more complex restoration or specialized treatment, we can help coordinate appropriate care and referrals.
We believe that combining modern technology with individualized attention allows us to provide efficient, thoughtful, and comprehensive dental care.
